Certified Direct Routing
The connection uses a Microsoft-certified AudioCodes interface, so the solution is supported and keeps pace with Teams updates.
Microsoft Teams
Teams is already your company's communication tool. With Direct Routing it becomes your phone too: Teams users make and take calls on your own numbers, and our mobile PBX supplies the call-handling features Teams does not have. GBC is a Microsoft partner specialising in O365 services.
The solution
Direct Routing connects your Teams tenant to the public telephone network through a SIP trunk of your own. Calls travel over our network, so Microsoft's calling plans are not required.

Teams users call and answer on your company's numbers. Existing numbers can be ported, or you can take new ones in Finland and across the EU.
Voice traffic is bought from us rather than as Microsoft Calling Plan bundles. Call rates are transparent and capacity flexes with demand.
Our mobile PBX covers what Teams will not stretch to: group numbers with proper ring strategies, queues, IVR menus, opening-hours routing and callbacks.
Calls can be recorded, transcribed into text and summarised, and the results pushed into your CRM through the API.
The same number can ring in both Teams and on a mobile phone, so reachability does not depend on whether Teams is open.
Deployment
Deployment happens inside your existing Microsoft 365 tenant and requires no changes on individual workstations.
We review your current Microsoft 365 environment, licences, the numbers in use and which PBX features you need.
The Direct Routing connection is configured, numbers are assigned to users and call routing rules are set up.
The connection is tested in both directions with pilot users before any numbers are ported.
Numbers are ported at the agreed time, and our support team watches the traffic through the cut-over.
FAQ
Direct Routing is Microsoft's way of connecting Teams to the public telephone network through an operator's SIP trunk. Calls do not go through Microsoft calling plans but over the operator's network, so the numbers and the call rates come from the operator.
Yes. Both geographic and national numbers can be ported, and the cut-over is scheduled so that no calls are lost. Alternatively you can take entirely new numbers.
Each user needs a Microsoft licence that includes Teams Phone. Microsoft's own Calling Plan bundles are not needed, because the voice traffic comes from us. We go through your licence position during the assessment.
Teams' built-in calling features are limited when it comes to ring strategies, queues, IVR menus and callbacks. The mobile PBX adds these, so Teams also works as the phone system for customer service and sales.
